Front Service Agent - Villas of Cave Creek

Job Summary:
The person in this position will be responsible for insuring guest satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the resort until they check-out. The front desk agent will check guests into and out of the property, inform guests about resort services, fulfill their requests during their stay, answer telephone inquiries, make reservations, coordinate activities and other duties as assigned. Post charges and handle cash and credit card transactions. Complete all other duties as assigned.


Job Expectations:

1. Manage and resolve all guest issues (and compliments) in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Maintain guest accounts.
3. Ensure that the front desk, lobby area, and back office is clean and well organized.
4. Effectively communicate with public, team members, and management in a professional manner.
5. Initiate and monitor shift checklist for proper completion of tasks.
6. Provide effective communication to all departments of guest activity.
7. Effectively coordinate relocation of guests when necessary.
8. Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.

Essential Functions:

1. Answer/direct telephone calls.
2. Demonstrate ability to use computers accurately.
3. Operate variety of office equipment.
4. Work with and assist in maintaining favorable relationship with the owners, guests, and team members.
5. Book and collect applicable fees.
6. Answer all calls, voicemail, and internet inquiries in a timely fashion.
7. Book and confirm reservations accurately.
8. Assists in monitoring and managing special projects and programs as needed.
9. Ensures proper coverage of the department during business hours.
10. Assists other Front Desk Agents with check-in problems, overbooking and other problem-solving matters; first point of contact for customer resolution while appropriately maintaining professionalism and company standards.
11. Performs other duties as requested by the resort manager.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

1. Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

2. Minimum Experience required:

  • 1+ year in a related field

3. Skills required:

  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
