Assignment and Assumption Processor- Temporary Position

Department: Inventory
Office: Corporate HQ
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
      1. Receive and verify Graceful Exit A&As from Escalation team.
        • Change contracts in TSW to show “Inventory Recovery Pending”
        • Verify accounts in Concord have been changed.
      2. Receive A&As from Funding.
        • Create spreadsheets depending on 1.0, 2.0, or term contracts. This includes looking each one up in TSW to determine the type of contract and in Concord to determine if a loan is associated with it. If there is a loan associated with it, determine the lender and verify if it needs to continue in the process. Divide each contract into charts depending on this information.
        • Determine if contract is in the club by comparing with spreadsheet from Title Agency of club inventory/ contracts. If it is not, put it to the side. Will come back to this.
        • Put physical copies of A&As into numerical order and scan into computer.
        • Once scanned and contracts are in numerical order on spreadsheet, save to proper folder on I-Drive.
        • Download each spreadsheet and scanned A&As into folder on FTP site share with Title Agency.
        • Email Title Agency to let them know the download has been completed so that they can work on them on their side and release the contracts.
      3. Contracts that are not in the Club
        • Contracts, mostly conversions, that have not been cleared into the club are removed from the rest of the A&As.
        • Information from the A&As is kept on a special spreadsheet and maintained monthly to remove any contracts that may have been closed into the club.
        • The physical A&As are kept separate and are grouped into bundles numerically. They are removed once they have closed into the club and submitted to the Title Agency with the next transmittal sent to them.
