Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Department: Corp-Accounting
Office: Corporate HQ
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC

Purpose:

This position is responsible for direct oversight of all Financial Planning & Analysis (F,P&A) processes for our entire portfolio of 200+ Managed Resorts.


Key Responsibilities:

Annual Budget:

  • Maintain and enhance our proprietary resort budget template
  • Train new users on the template
  • Load historical data harvested from Acumatica & Sage 500 onto the budget template
  • Supporting users on the template which may include correcting user errors
  • Partner with Operations during the preparation of their budgets
  • Participate in budget reviews with Senior Leadership

Monthly/recurring Forecasting:

  • Maintain and enhance our current forecasting process
  • Maintain our current custom forecasting reports
  • Develop new custom reports
  • Load forecast data into Acumatica & Sage 500 for reporting purposes
  • Direct oversight of at least one Associate

    All other duties as requested.


Education, Essential Training/ Certifications, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, systems or equivalent combination of education and experience with Financial Accounting Standards.
  • Five years of hands-on experience in forecasting, bookkeeping, accounting and ERP Systems
  • Proven track record of developing team members
  • Managed Timeshare or HOA experience preferred

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Ability to handle a high volume of data swiftly & accurately
  • Knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet, and word-processing software
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Acumatica is highly desirable
  • Data Entry Skills, Accounting

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders
