Opportunity for career advancement in a fast paced, growth-oriented Organization.

We are currently seeking a Bartender to join our team at Stormy Point Village, a 213- unit timeshare resort in Branson, MO.

As a bartender you will have an expectation to prepare and serve all soft drink, alcoholic beverages and wine according to all Capital Vacations specifications, recipes and procedures to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guests’ expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drinks for cocktail service orders and have a passion for mixology.
  • Be fully informed of beverage and menu offerings, in anticipation of guest needs and to deliver highly attentive service.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests in a can-do fashion, engaging in polite conversation when time allows.
  • Serves guests according to established procedures.
  • Promptly deliver guest’s food and beverage order ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Attend to guest during their entire dining experience.
  • May be required to work with till and turn in balanced.
  • Ensure the bar and its equipment are clean and fully functional. Performs side work and basic cleaning as necessary.
  • Computes guest checks, operates computerized cash register system and accept payments.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment, which includes managing people with discretion and professionalism and occasionally diffusing difficult situations.
  • Performs all other related duties and projects as assigned by the Front of House Manager

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Prior bartender experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of basic restaurant service and pleasant attitude.

General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.

Job Requirements

Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous hotel-related experience desired

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of basic restaurant service and pleasant attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
  • Maintains a desire to improve the quality of work
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Shift: Additional hours may be necessary to accommodate the number of guest check-ins/outs
