Inventory Control Specialist

Department: Inventory
Office: Corporate HQ
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC

Purpose

The Inventory Specialist’s key objective is to assist the Inventory Team with day-to-day monitoring of PMS for inventory and reservation related issues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors PMS for reservation placement (room assignments) to ensure proper utilization
  • Point of contact for resort staff for issues related to reservations including - inventory allocations, overbookings, out of order rooms, any other questions related to inventory/reservations
  • Work with Resort Staff to identify operational best practices and desirable maintenance timeframes
  • Oversee Inventory usage assuring that it is properly utilized
  • Handle all emergency out of service requests which may include reservation relocations
  • Provide as needed inventory assistance to marketing, member services, and other sales channels to maximize inventory utilization
  • Enters and monitors inbound Exchange activity and various Ownership Club’s inbounds for assigned resorts
  • Communicate with owners on an as needed basis
  • Willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the department to assist where needed
  • All other duties as requested

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 Years Hotel/ Resort Operations or Timeshare experience preferred
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel is required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Technically savvy, able to pickup and maneuver through several different systems
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with a high level of professionalism
  • Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed
